The orientation of the work of the ICT Authority is decided by a board appointed by government. The Board of the ICTA comprises a Chairperson, the Secretary for Home Affairs or his representative; and 5 other members appointed by the Minister, after consultation with the ICT Advisory Council.

The Board members are appointed by government.
