Market Research and Monitoring

In order to be in synch with the continuous developments taking place within the digital economy, market research & documentation has been earmarked as a key area of work within the Authority.

Through the collection of industry data from licensed operators, the Authority is able to contribute significantly to various information papers, industry reports, consultation documents, as well as in various international forums on the state of health of Digital Mauritius. At the same time, the analysis of market information also contributes as a key input in supplementing the formulation of policy towards the sustainable and competitive development of the ICT sector. This groundwork is ensured through the surveying & monitoring function of the ICT Observatory at the ICTA.
