DETERMINATION UNDER SECTION 31 OF THE
 ICT ACT 2001 (AS AMENDED)

‘Retail ADSL’ service of Telecom Plus Ltd

Further to the determination by the Authority on the wholesale ADSL tariffs of Mauritius Telecom Ltd on 12 February 2009, the Authority requested all ISPs to apply for revised tariffs for their retail ADSL services. Telecom Plus submitted its application accordingly. The Authority has now given its determination on the revised tariffs proposed by Telecom Plus Ltd,  whereby:

  1. a general increase in the relevant speeds and data allowances for selected offers has been approved; and
  2. a general reduction in the tariffs of the various offers, ranging from 14% to 45% has been approved.

 The revised tariffs for the Retail ADSL offers of Telecom Plus Ltd will come into effect as from 1 March 2009.

Particulars of the above approved tariffs are available for consultation at the seat of the ICT Authority.
