Attention about Fake News

The ICT Authority (ICTA) wishes to draw the attention of the public that a message circulating on Whatsapp purporting to be from the ICT Authority entitled ‘Mauritius ICTA News’ is false information. The message mentions that ‘new communication rules for Whatsapp and Whatsapp calls (voice and video calls) will be implemented from tomorrow.’ This information does not emanate from the ICT Authority.
