The Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA) is the National Regulatory body for the ICT and Telecommunications sectors in Mauritius.

Vacancy for the post of “Research Officer”
Applications are invited from qualified candidates who wish to be considered for appointment as “Research Officer” at the ICT Authority.
To be eligible, applicants must have achieved a level of education and/or experience as specified in the requirements for the position.
Eligibility of candidates will be assessed in compliance with all formal requirements by the closing date for the submission of applications. Only selected candidates will be invited for an interview.
Terms of Employment
Either on a one-year renewable contract, or on the permanent and pensionable establishment, subject to successfully completing one year probation, or such other period, as may be determined by the ICT Board.

A detailed curriculum vitae, copies of certificates and a covering letter should be sent to : The Executive Director, Information and Communication Technologies Authority, 12th Floor, The Celicourt, 6 Sir Celicourt Antelme Street, Port Louis, by Tuesday 24th January 2012 16.00 hrs at latest.
In order to be considered, applications must be sent by the closing date for submission, and the position applied for, should be clearly marked on the top left hand corner of the envelope.
