The Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA) is the National Regulatory body for the ICT and telecommunications sector in Mauritius.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of ‘Manager IT’ on the permanent and pensionable establishment of the ICT Authority.
Scheme of Service:


1. A Master’s degree in computer science or related fields with at least 10 years of work experience as a software/hardware engineer or IT security engineer.
A Masters degree in computer science or related fields with at least 3 years of work experience in the grade of Senior IT & System Engineer at the ICT Authority

2. The following would be an advantage:
a) Sound knowledge of new technologies.
b) Managerial experience and proven practical experience in the development and deployment of web-based applications.
c) Good understanding in cybersecurity related issues.
d) Sound knowledge of the ICT regulatory framework.


Report to the Director of IT.

Assist the Director in IT related regulatory work.

Coordinate and attend to IT issues of the Authority.

Manage and control any IT related project of the Authority.

Assign and supervise the work of the IT department staff.

Administer for the Authority’s IT infrastructure.

Provide in-house training to personnel.

Participate in the development of short/long term goals and plans for the department.

Ensure that controls exist to monitor performance for all department staff assignments and communicate appropriately on department staff performance.

Perform such other duties directly related to the IT Department or related to the delivery of the output and results expected from incumbents in the roles ascribed to them.
